Exciting News for Aspiring Lifesavers!

Get ready for an adventure filled with fun, learning, and new friendships at our Youth Only Surf Rescue Certificate Course! This course is designed to equip you with essential skills in surf awareness, aquatic rescue operations, and resuscitation, preparing you to become a vital part of lifesaving operations as Water Safety Personnel.

📅 Course Dates:
When: 5th December – 21st December 2024
Where: Sorrento Surf Club
Cost: $40 per person (Payment must be made before starting the online course)
Registration Opens: 1st November 2024
Registration Closes: 30th November 2024 (or when we reach our capacity of 24 participants)

🌟 Course Schedule:

• 5th Dec (Thurs): Intro to SRC Course & Orientation (6pm – 8pm)
• 16th Dec (Mon): Wet/Dry Session (8am – 12noon)
• 17th Dec (Tues): Wet/Dry Session (8am – 12noon)
• 18th Dec (Wed): Wet/Dry Session (8am – 12noon)
• 19th Dec (Thurs): Wet/Dry Session (8am – 12noon)
• 20th Dec (Fri): Mock Assessment (8am – 12noon)
• 21st Dec (Sat): Final Assessment Wet/Dry (7.00am – ~11.00am)

🔑 Important Note: All sessions are compulsory, so make sure you can attend each one! If you miss a session, you’ll need to defer to the next course.

🏊 Pre-Qualification Requirements:

• Pre-qual Swim: 200m in 5 minutes or less.
• Assessment Swim: 100m Run / 100m Swim / 100m Run in 5 minutes.

💻 Online Training Portal Access:
You’ll receive access to the Online Training Portal after registration closes. If we hit our participant limit early, we’ll send out instructions right away!
